Aussie skids to one-month low after RBA cut rates

SYDNEY, Oct 2 (Reuters) - The Australian dollar slipped to its lowest since Sept 7 at $1.0311 against the U.S. dollar on Tuesday, after the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) cut its cash rate by 25 basis points to 3.25 percent.

The RBA cited the high local dollar and soft export prices to justify the move.

The Aussie has fallen 0.4 percent on the day.
