Veteran RF technical leader heads up new unit to support customer design and manufacturing efforts
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cavendish Kinetics, a provider of Tunable RF solutions, announced today the addition of Paul Tornatta and the formation of a customer design support organization to assist customers in implementing its digital tunable MEMS capacitors into RF front end circuits enabling significant reductions RF circuit components while improving RF performance.
As Vice President of Product and Customer Engineering, Mr. Tornatta, has responsibilities for providing design assistance in advanced tunable RF designs for mobile platforms. Mr. Tornatta has more than 25 years of experience aerospace, wireless, telecommunications and automotive industries. Before joining Cavendish, he served as CTO of Skycross, a leading mobile antenna supplier. Prior to Skycross he served as vice president of the automotive business unit at Radiall Corp., a leading supplier of RF interconnect products. He also served in a variety of leadership positions at Larsen Antenna Technologies, Metricom, and Lockheed Martin. Mr. Tornatta earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from New Mexico State University. He has written articles on RF design and electromagnetics for a variety of RF trade publications and holds 25 patents for antennas and RF systems architectures.
