Hosted by the Graziadio School of Business and Management, SEER SYMPOSIUM invites the business community, entrepreneurs and students to explore the nature of values-centered businesses. It examines the creative strategies these leaders use to design, define and differentiate their organizations by integrating corporate social responsibility (CSR), environmental stewardship, financial strength, and great products or services with deeply embedded ethical core values. These principles form the foundation of Pepperdine’s MBA Certificate in Socially, Environmentally and Ethically Responsible (SEER) Business Strategy, developed by the certificate program’s faculty lead Dr. Michael Crooke, an assistant professor of strategy at Pepperdine and a former CEO of Patagonia.
