Proven Operations Executive to Lead Criterion’s Growing Department of Energy Business
VIENNA, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Criterion Systems, a systems integrator providing innovative, technology-enabled business solutions to government agencies, today announced that Charlie Doyle has joined the company as Vice President, Civilian Operations.
Doyle is responsible for revenue growth, rapid staffing, and high-quality program delivery within Criterion’s civilian business operations, including the company’s growing Department of Energy (DOE) business. Criterion currently has 60 employees supporting mission-critical cyber security and infrastructure operations across eight DOE locations, including the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Secure Transportation (OST), the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), and Headquarters.
“Charlie’s understanding of the DOE environment and culture combined with his extensive domain expertise make him the perfect choice to grow our DOE business and guide our civilian operations to continued success,” said Promod Sharma, President and CEO of Criterion. “Charlie is a proven operations executive with a history of leading people and project teams to deliver IT solutions and achieve outstanding results for federal customers. I am confident he will provide the necessary strategic leadership as Criterion continues to expand its footprint in the federal civilian marketplace.”
Before joining Criterion, Doyle served as Deputy Division Manager and Vice President, Integrated Solutions Division at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). In this role he managed new business activity for several civilian portfolios and provided leadership for federal technical programs with annual sales of more than $100 million and 650 employees and subcontractors. Prior to SAIC, Doyle held a variety of positions during his 20-year career with Raytheon Information Solutions.
In addition to DOE, Doyle has supported the Departments of Homeland Security (DHS) and Justice (DoJ), the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), U.S. Forest Service, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Security and Exchange Commission (SEC), National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), and several others.
“I have been supporting DOE IT services programs for the last 15 years. I look forward to working with Criterion’s executive team and our talented employees to continue to support the DOE mission and expand into new civilian agencies,” commented Doyle. “I share the philosophy of the Criterion leadership team that delivering our customers quality service and creating a positive work environment for our employees are the cornerstones required to accelerate company growth.”
