Event to demonstrate the severity of kitchen fires

|For Nationwide Insurance, Ohio places second when it comes to the number of kitchen fire claims. Nationwide is literally burning down a residential house to illustrate the severity of kitchen fires. The media can watch the fire first hand. The display is part of Fire Prevention Week.|
|The number of cooking fires far exceeds the number of appliance, fireplace, smoking, candle and furnace fires reported. One in 22 households will have a cooking fire each year (National Fire Protection Association).|
