St. Luke’s University Health Network Turns to SCI Solutions to Connect with their Community Physicians

Rules-based scheduling and improved communication outside the hospital are expected to boost hospital revenues, improve community physician loyalty and streamline the scheduling process, to increase patient satisfaction

CAMPBELL, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- St. Luke’s University Health Network announced today a partnership with SCI Solutions, a leading provider of cloud-based community connectivity and rules-based scheduling services, to connect their hospitals to the referring physicians within their community and improve patient satisfaction through access management innovations. Through this partnership, SCI’s solutions will be implemented for St. Luke’s employed physician network of nearly 380 providers in six hospital facilities in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania and Phillipsburg, New Jersey.

  • Order Facilitator®, SCI’s electronic order solution, will integrate with SLHN’s Health Information Exchange (HIE) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR), streamlining order submission to the health system, maximizing the conversion of orders into appointments and minimizing network leakage.
  • Schedule Maximizer®, the industry leading rules-based scheduling tool, will enable multi-hospital call center deployment as well as the unique capability for patients and referring physician offices to self-schedule their appointments via the Web.
