First US success for Japan based gaming company
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- KLab, Inc., a leader in mobile games in Japan, today announced that it’s first global title Lord of the Dragons hit #1 in All Free Games for the US App Store on September 28th. Lord of the Dragons, a medieval fantasy card battle game, is the first of many global titles KLab plans to launch in the US market.
“We’re excited to see how well received Lord of the Dragons has been across over 150 countries,” said Tetsuya Sanada, CEO of KLab, Inc. “The great feedback from users is what motivates us.”
Created specifically for the global market in mind, Lord of the Dragons made a splash in the US App Store after only 2 weeks, hitting #1 in All Free Games. Utilizing the gaming know-how from Japan, users are immersed in a rich medieval fantasy theme with the graphics to match. Completing quests, battling foes, and uniting with peers in Guilds are a few of the things users can expect to experience when playing this game.
Lord of the Dragons is available to play for free on the App Store by going to http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/lord-of-the-dragons/id543430855?mt=8.
Founded in 2000, KLab has been a wildly successful publisher of mobile games in Japan. Employing over 400 people in Tokyo, the company is proud to be a publicly traded enterprise on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Based on this success, KLab decided to venture out and bring their expertise to the global marketplace. The San Francisco branch, opened in April, is looking to expand our portfolio and make a splash in the iOS, Google Play, Amazon, and other markets.
