Clarizen Integrates with Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS)

Project management software leader ties in TFS to unify experience, boosting end user productivity, increasing business agility

SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Clarizen, a leading project execution software company, announced today that it has fully integrated its software with Microsoft Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS), adding an additional, seamless layer of connectivity between Clarizen and the Microsoft product.

Directly resulting from ongoing customer feedback, Clarizen’s integration with TFS will help users manage projects more efficiently. As part of the integration, users can now update their progress whenever and wherever they feel most comfortable, be that the TFS network, Clarizen’s web ecosystem, its mobile apps, or through email. This update is especially designed for developers and engineers who traditionally have had to toggle between the two environments while data collecting, running reports, and managing tasks and updates.

“Integrating TFS with Clarizen is one more example of how we listen to our customers in order to increase our product functionality for end users,” said Ariel Utnik, vice president of research and development and managed services at Clarizen. “Our end users should expect an enhanced user experience as we continually strive to offer a better product. We’ve added this specific integration with TFS into our software offering to expedite end users processes for agile businesses.”

As part of this enhancement, customers will be able to work independently in either Clarizen or TFS and see their updates made in the other respective platform in real-time. Moreover, email can serve as a universal tool to make updates via Clarizen’s tie-in with Microsoft Outlook.

The TFS integration option is available in the Clarizen AppsMarketPlace at: http://www.clarizen.com/appsmarketplace.html
