Through the creation of www.insulinforward.com, which included the brand development and generation of supporting digital and print assets, Ozone and Medtronic helped remove the educational burden of diabetes patients from healthcare providers by recruiting insulin-taking patients to classes and educating them about insulin pump therapy, a much healthier and more cost-effective treatment course.
Results greatly exceeded initial goals for every metric measured. More than 2,000 patients registered for classes within nine months, and of the registrants, 92 percent had been on insulin for an average of six years. The outreach effort by Medtronic was highly personalized and sales people interacted closely with healthcare providers, educating them about the program, answering questions, and providing collateral.
