Barnhart Agrees to Purchase C&S Crane & Rigging

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Oct. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Barnhart Crane & Rigging and C&S Companies of Syracuse have reached a definitive agreement under which Barnhart will purchase C&S Crane & Rigging Company. C&S has served industrial, commercial and public sector customers throughout upstate New York since 2008 with 15 ton to 200 ton cranes, as well as specialized rigging equipment. Currently, Barnhart has 25 branches nationwide, and has one of the nation's largest equipment inventories including electronic steer Goldhofer trailers, cranes to 1,760 tons, sliding systems, strand jacks, and the Modular Lift Tower system.
