EnTouch Controls CEO Greg Fasullo to Participate in Energy Saving Panel Discussion at HARDI Annual Conference

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- EnTouch Controls announced today that company CEO Greg Fasullo will participate in an upcoming HARDI Controls Council panel discussion on energy efficiency, held during the HARDI 2012 Annual Conference in Orlando, FL, from Oct. 6-9.

The panel discussion is titled, “Energy savings and Sustainability: Everyone has a role to play,” and brings together leaders from the residential and commercial controls industry in an open discussion about market approaches to increase the adoption of energy efficient technologies.

HARDI (Heating, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International) is the single voice of wholesale distribution within the HVACR industry. Its annual conference is designed to educate the HVACR distribution professional through an in-depth program with speakers, educational seminars, and council presentation. In addition to EnTouch Controls, the council presentation includes representatives from Honeywell Residential, Honeywell Commercial, Johnson Controls, and HARDI member companies.

“The HARDI Controls Council is pleased to have Greg Fasullo of EnTouch Controls present the company’s unique solution to energy savings, sustainability, and monitoring at our upcoming panel discussion,” said Paul Neustadt, head of the Controls Council and President of Neuco Inc.

“Commercial facilities account for nearly half of all energy consumption in the United States, at a cost of over $200 billion per year, more than any other sector of the economy. They are also responsible for nearly half of our greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to ongoing climate change,” Fasullo said. “The HARDI conference gives me an excellent venue to raise awareness on these issues and discuss solutions with an audience that can actually make change happen.”

Small commercial facilities represent 90 percent of the total energy used and lack the ability to efficiently track their consumption. Business owners traditionally are without the tools and personnel to focus on efficiency and the result is that a 5,000-square-foot facility uses 50 percent more energy per square foot than larger facilities. EnTouch Controls provides wireless retrofits focused on small facilities and provides cloud-based services to manage energy and optimize performance.

The EnTouch EMS can reduce a facility’s energy usage by 20 percent or more, with a return on investment in months, not years. This helps the business owner and increases the adoption rate of energy management systems that can have significant impact on US energy consumption and the environment.
