Siegel to Drive Government Strategy and Account Management for Leading Mobile Security and Risk Management Company
STERLING, Va. & TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Fixmo, the mobile risk management (MRM) company, today announced that it has appointed Randy Siegel as senior vice president of U.S. federal government sales and strategy. Most recently, Siegel was director of Mission Critical Mobility Initiatives at Motorola Solutions where he headed up Motorola Solutions’ Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSFC) go-to-market efforts. Initiatives included working directly with NSA, DISA, Joint Chiefs of Staff as well as other branches of the DOD and the President’s Community of Interest.
Prior to working for Motorola Solutions, Siegel held management positions with Microsoft Corporation, where for over a decade, he headed up the US Federal Subsidiary’s Mobility practice. Siegel is also a veteran of MCI Telecommunications, General Electric and Paul Kagan Associates. Siegel is currently serving as Chairman of the Tactical and Wearable subcommittee for the AFCEA National Defense Mobile Steering Committee (AFCEA DC). He is a member of the Association of the US Army (AUSA) and was recently named to AOL Government’s Board of Contributors. Siegel is a frequent moderator and panelist at association and government events around the DC Beltway.
“The Consumerization of IT phenomenon shows no signs of stopping,” said Siegel. “In order to protect the valuable intellectual property of organizations – and in the case of the U.S. Federal Government, mission and often life dependent operations – we need to make sure that all devices in the field are as protected as other IT assets. Fixmo does this and has a long heritage of providing integrity, compliance and risk management solutions to some of the most security-conscious government agencies in the world.”
“U.S. government entities are looking for ways to embrace the latest smartphones and tablets while also ensuring that sensitive information is safe, encrypted and doesn’t travel over insecure wireless networks,” said Bruce Gilley, President at Fixmo. “Having Randy onboard, with his long tenure in the federal mobility space, will ensure that our government clients understand what their options are and how Fixmo’s technology can help them embrace mobility without compromise. As we continue to build a strong team at Fixmo, we’re excited about the opportunity to further propel our products to the forefront of enterprise mobility strategies and we are proud to have Randy as part of that mission.”
In addition to the appointment of Randy Siegel, Fixmo has also announced that Sheldon Hebert has joined the company as the Senior Vice President for Enterprise Sales and Strategy.
