NEW YORK, Oct. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- NetCom Learning, the innovative IT and business training skills organization, is headed West and expanding its operations by opening a sales division on the West Coast. The organization already has locations in New York City, Las Vegas, and newly opened locations in Philadelphia and the Washington, D.C. metro area. The new region will contribute to the organization's overall growth plan.
Adding a West Coast location further expands the company's footprint, positioning for significant future growth. NetCom Learning CEO Russell Sarder said that having a presence on the West Coast is an important part of NetCom Learning's strategy.
"We've known all along that we'd eventually want to place a division on the West Coast; however, it's still exciting to see it actually in place. I'm confident this will help take NetCom Learning's operations in the direction of growth that we have intended since its founding," Sarder said.
NetCom Learning hired a sales executive with a 15-year track record to join the West Coast team. She will target IT software companies, technology startups and business technology services companies, like Unitek, QuickStart and New Horizons accounts in the Silicon Valley, when she takes on the position in mid-October.
The expansion is in line with the organization's purpose of promoting the values of lifelong learning and promoting it to an even wider audience than before.
NetCom Learning has adopted a willingness to change and transform in order to be successful in the marketplace. The organization has cultivated a staff that is willing to be creative and explore all options to grow the company forward. It's built a performance-driven culture by hiring the best players, promoting diversity and constantly focusing on execution.
But the organization has done more than just build a staff; it's built a team culture of trust and commitment to the organization's mission. That team culture is such that each member is accountable to each other and is not afraid to have productive conflicts.
