MAMCO Property Managers Earn Prestigious PCAM Designation

MT. LAUREL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MAMCO Property Management, an Associa company, proudly congratulates CEO Nancy Hastings and Vice President of Operations Robert Hastings, who recently earned the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation from the Community Associations Institute (CAI).

The PCAM designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management. Earning the PCAM designation is recommended for experienced managers who want to demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge, and who wish to be recognized among the best and most experienced managers in the nation.

To earn the PCAM designation, a community manager must have at least five years direct community association management experience, successfully pass their CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) examination, pass six related courses through CAI and complete an extensive case study, among numerous other items.

Ms. Hastings is the Chief Executive Officer at MAMCO Property Management. In her role, she is responsible for the operations, performance and growth of the company branch. She brings a wide range of community management experience to the company. Her hands-on philosophy, strong customer service commitment and high energy have shaped many initiatives throughout the company and communities served.

Prior to her position as CEO, Ms. Hastings served as vice president. She acted in this capacity in addition to managing a portfolio of communities and overseeing the performance of all management and support staff. Her efforts during this time led to the hiring of key personnel and senior staff, significant growth and excellent customer retention. In her tenure as CEO, the company branch received the 2008 Associa Award for Employee Morale.

Mr. Hastings is the vice president of operations at MAMCO. He has been in the industry for more than 20 years. He is responsible for all maintenance services throughout the branch. In addition, he assists the CEO with daily operations, provides project management oversight and manages a portfolio of communities. His oversight of large-scale exterior service contracts and his knowledge of construction continue to be a high priority request for MAMCO clients. In his capacity as vice president of operations, he has expanded the maintenance division and placed support personnel to serve managers and clients with facility management needs.

He has also been active for the past 10 years in the Pennsylvania Delaware Valley Chapter of CAI. He is currently serving as a board member for the chapter.
