The monthly luncheon, entitled "Lessons from Loyalty on Keeping Consumers and Brands Connected" will feature Robert Schwartz of WPP who will moderate a discussion on loyalty, highlighting InterContinental Hotel Group's (IHG) highly successful loyalty program.

Joining Schwartz will be Don Berg, IHG's vice president of Loyalty Programs and Partnerships and Dameon Pope, vice president, Ogilvy & Mather Atlanta and loyalty expert.

Loyalty marketing started with coupons, stamps and points to help keep consumers connected to brands. It has evolved into a unique discipline that marries the science of data and the art of message.

And it's no longer just about accruing "points for stuff." Fueled in part by technology and social media, loyalty management, across retail, travel, health, B to B and other industries, also aims to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships between an organization and its publics.

Join PRSA|GA for its October luncheon to learn how the tools, tactics and techniques of today's loyalty programs are helping brands move consumers from loyal "customers" to brand advocates.

Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the luncheon will be from noon to 1 p.m. Details and registration: http://bit.ly/PB8A0l.

Prior to the lunch a seminar, "Face to Face with Facebook," will be led by Jessica Ludolph, account manager at Facebook.

Timeline. Sponsored stories. Integration of "paid, owned and earned." These are some of the latest changes to Facebook as it continues to evolve and innovate, driven by its user-centric philosophy. So, what does all this mean for earned media specialists and how will recent changes impact how brands interact with consumers via Facebook?

Find out during PRSA Georgia's October seminar when Ludolph will discuss the social network's latest evolution as well as common questions and trends. Plus, she'll answer questions about maximizing your brand's Facebook presence.

Registration for the seminar begins at 9:15 a.m. and the seminar will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Details and registration: http://bit.ly/PB97PY.
