HELSINKI, Oct 8 (Reuters) - Finland's exports and imports were balanced in August as the value of exports rose to 4.9 billion euros ($6.40 billion), National Customs Board (NCB) said on Monday.
According to preliminary data, exports rose 5 percent and imports fell 3 percent from a year ago to cut out a deficit of 383 million euros in August 2011.
