Turkish Sept cash deficit 7.04 bln lira - treasury

ISTANBUL, Oct 8 (Reuters) - Turkey's cash deficit was 7.04 billion lira ($3.9 billion) in September, Treasury data showed on Monday, bringing the deficit to 16.64 billion lira in the first nine months of 2012.

The September primary deficit was 4.25 billion lira, bringing the January-September primary surplus to 19.6 billion lira, the Treasury also said on its website.

The cash budget measures the money the Treasury actually receives and pays out in the month. The primary balance excludes interest payments. ($1 = 1.8051 Turkish liras)
