MARLOW, England--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Bomgar, a leading provider of secure remote support solutions, today announced it has relocated its EMEA headquarters to support its rapidly growing international customer base. Now located in Marlow, England, the UK office has served as a fundamental driver in Bomgar’s rapid expansion throughout EMEA. In the first three quarters of 2012, Bomgar EMEA added nearly 200 enterprise and mid-tier accounts, and increased total revenue by 57% over the same period last year. Now more than 6,500 organisations across 65 countries are using Bomgar to provide remote support to employees and customers.
Using Bomgar, IT support technicians can remotely access and service virtually any computing system or mobile device based in any location, speeding issue resolution and increasing end-user satisfaction. Bomgar not only allows technicians to chat with and help multiple users at once, but also seamlessly integrates with nearly any service desk or systems management solution. Deployed within an on-premises appliance, the Bomgar software also sits behind the customer’s own firewall and security measures, greatly improving security and compliance.
In the last 12 months, the EMEA headquarters has gained numerous accounts, with organisations across many sectors including education, local government, financial services, hospitality and pharmaceutical. All of these organisations share a commonality, which is making the decision to standarise their remote support technology and processes with Bomgar. For example, Fidessa, a provider of high-performance trading, investment management and information solutions to 85 per cent of the world’s premier financial institutions, consolidated global support services for the company’s tech support team with Bomgar. Informatics Merseyside, IT support provider to several National Health Service (NHS) healthcare organisations, selected Bomgar because of its multi-platform support capabilities and adherence to the NHS Connection for Health (CFH) compliance requirements. And Bucks New University and University of York, two leading higher education institutions in the UK, are now able to provide the same level of high quality support to students and faculty across the campus and across the world.
“Year after year, Bomgar has continued to expand its international footprint,” said Stuart Facey, VP EMEA, Bomgar. “Since establishing our first EMEA headquarters in 2011, we have seen a rapid increase in the interest and adoption of Bomgar throughout Europe, and we look forward to continued growth as we expand into our new location.”
This autumn, Bomgar will be exhibiting at the 2012 itSMF Conference in London on the 5th and 6th of November.
