Apogee Interactive Presents 19th Annual INNOVATIONS User's Conference Today in San Diego

ATLANTA, Oct. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- APOGEE Interactive, Inc., an industry-leading provider of online solutions to over 650 energy utilities, will host its 19th Annual INNOVATIONS User's Group Conference today in San Diego. This one day event will be held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, and is hosted in conjunction with Chartwell's EMACS—The Customer Experience Conference.

The core of the program will center around what Apogee believes is the "Roadmap to Success" in the areas of energy efficiency and customer engagement. Several key presentations will feature the latest trends and innovations in the areas of analytical excellence, mobile solutions, consistent messaging to customers, and proven impacts of energy efficiency efforts on customer behavior. Apogee's current innovations include mobile energy audits using a tablet computer or iPad, responsive web design, and the use of QR Codes, Interactive Voice Response, and Interactive Text Response as means of explaining bills to customers.

Other highlights of this year's conference include the presentation of the results of the 2012 JD Power & Associates Customer Satisfaction Survey by Dr. Andrew Heath. Apogee's Chief Software Architect, Joel Gilbert, P.E., will also offer his visionary State of the Industry address to attendees.

Representatives from Con Edison, SRP, and Entergy will be present to accept their utilities' ACE Awards. This year, Con Edison and SRP are both being honored for their marketing efforts. Con Edison's Green Team Program, featuring a series of engaging online videos and other integrated marketing tactics, has resulted in more than 65,000 visitors to their online application. SRP's successful email marketing resulted in 1,000 customers reviewing their Home Energy Analyzer in one day. Entergy, who is being honored in the Energy Conservation Education category, has increased traffic to their Home Energy Calculator by 39%, with 55% of those visitors completing the online home energy audit.

The other 2012 ACE Award Winners include: NSTAR, Public Service Company of Oklahoma, SMUD, PSEG, Georgia Power, PECO, Prince George Electric Cooperative, and Flint Energies.
