DAYTON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Dayton Region Manufacturers Association (DRMA) is pleased to announce the 2012 Advanced Manufacturing Technology Show (AMTS) in Dayton. This year, AMTS will be held October 24-25 at the Dayton Airport Expo Center. As the only event of its kind in the area, AMTS provides a two-day celebration for manufacturers to network, discuss the latest industry trends and see the newest technology and equipment.
Manufacturing in Ohio has seen a 12 percent increase in output over the past two years. With the industry’s significant growth in the region, AMTS provides a unique opportunity for manufacturers in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky to capitalize on the expansion. Suppliers will be able to get in front of decision makers and cultivate new business leads, and attendees will be able to learn new procedures and methods to help their businesses operate more efficiently. AMTS also offers several on-site workshops, in-booth demonstrations and seminars, including:
• Kick-Off Workshop: To Offshore or Reshore (October 24, 8AM-10AM)
• In-booth demonstration: Introduction to 3D Printing (October 24, 10AM)
• Seminar: Gaining a Competitive Advantage with Lean ERP (October 25, 11AM)
Attendees will have the opportunity to attend these events and others by pre-registering online or stopping by the designated booths during the show. Last year’s event drew more than 2,400 attendees and 130 exhibitors from a variety of industries including aerospace, energy, medical and transportation.
“We’re especially excited for this year’s trade show,” said Angelia Erbaugh, President of the Dayton Region Manufacturers Association. “The industry has seen significant changes and growth over the past several years, with Ohio now ranking third in the nation in manufacturing employment and outlook. We’re looking forward to a great event.”
