Staffing Enhancements, New Markets: LifeMap Gears up for Growth

PORTLAND, Ore., Oct. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- LifeMap Assurance Company is pleased to announce the addition or promotion of eight staff to the company's leadership team. These individuals will guide LifeMap's new brand growth, and help lead the charge as the company continues to expand.

LifeMap currently serves customers in Oregon, Washington, Utah and Idaho with a complete portfolio of ancillary benefit plans that include life, disability, vision, dental, accident, critical illness and short term medical coverage.

However, given the group's renewed success in sales with a new brand and mission, and the addition of several key leaders, LifeMap is launching into Wyoming, Montana and Alaska.

In support of this new direction, LifeMap is pleased to announce the following additions and promotions:

Jim Clark, Director of Actuarial: Jim is responsible for managing product pricing, reserves, analysis and actuarial activities. His team will work to strengthen LifeMap's market position and to maintain the financial strength and security of the company. Jim brings 24 years of actuarial experience in Group Life and Disability products to LifeMap, having most recently worked as the Director of Actuarial Services for UnitedHealthcare Specialty Benefits in Minneapolis, MN. Jim works out of his home office.

Randy Lowell, Director of Finance: Randy joined LifeMap in April after most recently working for the software and solutions business at Radisys Corporation. He is responsible for LifeMap's financial planning, forecasting and analytics, and works in LifeMap's Portland office.

Steve Lamoureaux, Director of Enrollment Platform Services: Steve joined LifeMap's Portland office in August 2012 to further expand the organization's online enrollment and individualized service platform, myStro. Steve joined LifeMap with over 20 years of leadership experience supporting technology initiatives within the insurance and financial services industries. Most recently Steve worked for Selerix, Inc. and successfully built an implementation and support team and was responsible for product quality and feature enhancements.

Hether Lee, Director of Sales: Hether is based in LifeMap's Portland office, and recently her responsibilities with the company expanded as she now oversees all LifeMap sales teams in every state the company serves. Specifically, Hether is responsible for providing all LifeMap sales executives and producer partners the knowledge they need to promote the company's diverse portfolio of products. Hether has been employed with LifeMap for six years, after working with Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon for four years and Regence BlueShield of Washington for two years. Her professional experience also includes six years with Aetna in the Seattle sales division.

Toby Fouch, Manager of Sales Washington, Idaho and Alaska: Toby Fouch joined LifeMap's Seattle office to further develop the company's product, enrollment and distribution capabilities in "Voluntary Employee Benefits" where LifeMap has seen tremendous growth. Building on that success, he recently has taken over the responsibility of the Washington, Idaho and Alaska markets. Toby has over 15 years of insurance industry experience in sales management, and has held leadership roles with Colonial Life and ClearPoint, LP.

Terry Easley, Senior Sales Executive Western Washington: Terry Easley was recently hired to the LifeMap Seattle team to support LifeMap's broker community in western Washington. Terry has over 10 years of experience working closely with some of the largest brokerage houses in Seattle as part of his experience with Mutual of Omaha and MetLife, and is excited to bring his relationships and expertise to LifeMap for the benefit of the company's customers.

Mike Bonville, Manager of Sales Montana and Oregon: LifeMap recently appointed Mike Bonville to oversee LifeMap's expansion into the Montana market. Based in Bozeman, Montana, Mike is responsible for cultivating relationships with employers and brokers throughout the community, to bring all LifeMap products to Montana. Mike has worked with LifeMap in the sales division for over three years, and looks forward to bringing his career success in Oregon to the Montana market.

Kevin Grant, Senior Sales Executive Oregon: Kevin Grant joined LifeMap recently to support the company's broker community in Oregon. Prior to joining LifeMap, Kevin worked in sales at Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, and in various capacities at PacifiCare. In his current position, Kevin is responsible for expanding business for the LifeMap brand, collaborating with broker partners.
