BOJ Sept minutes: one member called for more risk-asset buying

TOKYO, Oct 11 (Reuters) - One Bank of Japan policymaker said the central bank should consider increasing purchases not just of government bonds but also of risk assets to boost the effect of its monetary expansion, minutes of the BOJ's policy meeting in September showed on Thursday.

At the September meeting, the BOJ decided unanimously to ease monetary policy by increasing its asset buying programme with the increase to be only for government bonds and treasury discount bills, not risk assets.
