Britain's FTSE 100 share index steadied around one-week lows on Thursday, with concerns about the euro zone crisis partly offset by corporates reaffirming rather than downgrading their outlook.
The benchmark index was broadly steady at 5,779.00 points by 0712 GMT after earlier hitting its lowest level since Oct. 1 at 5,766.69.
Shares in Burberry added 4.79 percent after the luxury goods maker, which issued a profit warning last month, reported an improvement in trading in September.
