The Premier healthcare alliance ranks 6 for large companies; 14 members also on annual listing
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Premier healthcare alliance has once again been named to Modern Healthcare’s list of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare.
“We’re so proud of our employees and their efforts to support healthcare providers as they are faced with new challenges every day,” said Premier President and CEO Susan DeVore. “It is an honor to be named to this list each year, as it proves our passion for the industry, our members and people as we work to create healthier communities where we can all experience the best care possible.”
This is the fourth consecutive year that Premier has made the list, placing 6 among companies with 1,000 or more employees and 51 overall. Only 14 percent of the organizations on the list have been placed for four years in a row. Fourteen Premier alliance members were also named to the annual listing. “We want to sincerely congratulate our members who made the list. They are at the heart of the positive change that’s making a major impact in healthcare,” continued DeVore.
The magazine’s annual Best Places to Work in Healthcare program recognizes employers for creating workplaces in healthcare that enable employees to perform at their optimum level to provide patients and customers with the best possible patient care and services.
Premier employees are guided by four company values in their daily work, including passion for performance, innovation, focus on people and integrity.
