S.Africa's 3-mth T-Bill avg yield rises to 5.01 pct

JOHANNESBURG, Oct 12 (Reuters) - South Africa sold 2.685 billion rand ($311 million) worth of three-month Treasury Bills on Friday at an average yield of 5.01 percent compared with 5 percent last week. The bid-to-cover ratio rose to 2.0 from 1.54.
