Brent crude oil settles lower Friday, up 2.3 pct over week

Oct 12 (Reuters) - Brent crude oil futures fell by $1.09 a barrel on Friday to settle at $114.62 a barrel after the International Energy Agency cut its demand growth outlook.

But the international benchmark still finished the week higher overall, climbing by $2.60 or 2.3 percent in the last seven days.
