Marvell: chief financial officer has resigned

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Computer chip maker Marvell Technology Group Ltd. said Thursday that Chief Financial Officer Clyde Hosein has resigned from the company to pursue other opportunities.

Vice president and Corporate Controller Brad Feller will serve as interim CFO while the company searches for a permanent replacement. Hosein will assist the company with its search, Marvell said in a statement. He was with the company for four years.

Feller previously was corporate controller for Integrated Device Technology, a San Jose-based company that makes semiconductors.

Marvell also cut its revenue outlook for its fiscal third quarter on Thursday.

Shares of Marvell Technology Ltd. fell 69 cents, or 7.8 percent, to $8.14 in after-hours trading.
