Manhattan Associates Powers Happigo's Multi-Channel Retail Business

SHANGHAI and ATLANTA, Nov. 19, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Global supply chain optimization provider, Manhattan Associates, Inc. (Nasdaq:MANH), today announced that Happigo, China's leading multimedia retailer specializing in televised home shopping, has chosen Manhattan Associates' Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) to optimize its warehouse operations and achieve a more efficient supply chain management to pave the way for its business expansion.

Happigo is taking advantage of a consumer environment in China characterized by increased spending and a growing demand for convenience shopping. It promotes products via various media channels including TV, Internet, print and online catalogs, mobile devices and telephone.

Manhattan's solution will be deployed in Happigo's two largest warehouses that have a combined storage area of 860,000 square feet. After three months of in-depth discussion and analysis, Manhattan Associates worked closely with Happigo to design a system configuration that would perfectly meet Happigo's business needs. The Manhattan Associates professional services team will lead the implementation and run a comprehensive training programme for Happigo's system users. The deployment is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2013.

Ultimately, all improvements made will speed up order delivery and bring an enhanced purchase experience that will strengthen customer loyalty.
