NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 6, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Please join representatives of IBERIABANK and the Federal Home Loan Bank in Dallas (FHLB Dallas) as they present $10,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to The Urban Conservancy in New Orleans.
The Urban Conservancy will use the grant funds toward a workshop it conducts for local businesses, lenders, and community banks to teach creative, innovative ways to reinforce the local economy through investing in local businesses.
FHLB Dallas awarded $225,000 in grants through its PGP in 2012. The program provides funding for the operational needs of community-based organizations involved in affordable housing and community development.
