Walker Sands Marks Growth of its Chicago Team With Addition of New SVP

CHICAGO, Dec. 17, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Walker Sands, a rapidly growing public relations agency for B2B and technology companies, announced today it has appointed industry veteran Christine Pietryla as Senior Vice President of Public Relations in its Chicago headquarters.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, Pietryla will lead strategy and planning efforts for Walker Sands' public relations team. She will also help Walker Sands scale to accommodate a rapidly developing client base of B2B and technology companies.

Over the last four years, Walker Sands has achieved remarkable growth, expanding by 131 percent since 2011, while its headcount increased six fold from 2008 to today. Earlier this year, Walker Sands expanded nationally, by opening an office in San Francisco.
