Notice to LPL Financial, LLC Customers: Maddox Hargett & Caruso, P.C. Launches Investigation Into Non-Traded REIT Recommendations of LPL Financial

NEW YORK, Jan. 3, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Maddox Hargett & Caruso, P.C. announces the initiation of an investigation into the sales practices of LPL Financial, LLC in connection with its recommendation of various non-traded REIT investment products to the firm's clients. LPL Financial, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of LPL Financial Holdings Inc.

The initiation of this investigation follows the recent filing of a regulatory complaint against LPL Financial by the Securities Division of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, which focuses on purported improper sales practices by LPL Financial involving various non-traded REIT investment products during the period of January 2006 through December 2012. The Massachusetts complaint also charges LPL Financial with dishonest and unethical business practices.
