New York, NY, Jan. 8, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Likeable has appointed Carrie Kerpen as Chief Executive Officer of Likeable Media, the award-winning, global social media firm. The staffing change comes as a result of the launch of the new software platform, Likeable Local.

Carrie Kerpen will now lead the fast-growing agency of over 60 employees with a focus on leveraging social media to create more transparent, responsive, engaged, and likeable brands and organizations.

Dave Kerpen will remain Chairman of the Board for Likeable Media while focusing on the expansion of Likeable Local, a software platform offering social media marketing solutions for small businesses. Likeable Local launched with its first vertical, Likeable Dentists, in June 2012 through a partnership with Henry Schein. Future verticals of Likeable Local include florists, lawyers, real estate, restaurants, and veterinarians.
