Gun Control and Gun Sales

At the Blue Ridge Arsenal in Chantilly, Virginia, President Barack Obama was on a big screen TV outlining historic gun control proposals but most customers never looked up.

Sales have been brisk since the Sandy Hook tragedy at one of the oldest and best known gun shops in Northern Virginia, just down the road from the National Rifle Association headquarters. Store manager Dave Rojas says they are even growing their business with special promotions aimed at women, the military even law enforcement officers.

"We cater to everyone here . We have military appreciation day. We have a ladies night. We have group specials on Thursday. We have discounts if you bring a lot of people."

The only slowdown is shortages of guns and ammo from manufacturers.
