Holds Tummy Time Contest on Facebook

CHICAGO, Feb. 27, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --, a national non-profit educational foundation, announces the start of its next Tummy Time Photo Contest on March 1st. Parents can submit a photo of their infant in a Tummy Time position through March 21st and enter to win a Prize Pack.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends Tummy Time to promote infant development and improve head control by strengthening core, neck, back, and shoulder muscles. With as many as 600,000 children at risk each year for an early motor delay, hopes to engage new and expectant parents on Facebook to spread knowledge of the importance of Tummy Time.

Facebook fans will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite picture during the March 25th through March 30th voting period and the top three entries with the most votes will each receive a gift card and mug with their baby's picture. Parents interested in submitting a photo to the Tummy Time contest should "like" on Facebook for contest information.
