(Nasdaq:OCLS), a commercial healthcare company that designs, produces and markets innovative, safe and effective drugs, devices and nutritional products, today announced the closing of its underwritten public offering of 8,625,000 shares of common stock at an offering price of $0.40 per share, including 1,125,000 shares of its common stock to cover the over-allotment. Oculus received gross proceeds of $3.45 million.
Oculus intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for the repayment of debt and for general corporate purposes. In connection with the repayment of debt, Oculus intends to retire a portion of the common stock previously issued to its lenders.
Aegis Capital Corp. acted as the sole book-running manager for the offering. Dawson James Securities, Inc. acted as a co-manager for the offering.
