From 23,000 to 55,000

Ongoing organic expansion, new retailer partners, international expansion, as well as merger and acquisition activity by parent company Cardtronics—all have factored into more than doubling Allpoint Network from 23,000 ATMs in 2003 to 55,000 surcharge-free cash machines in 2013. The newest 5,000 surcharge-free Allpoint ATMs arrive courtesy of Cardtronics' acquisition activity, specifically its Access to Money, Inc. transaction of 2011, as well as acquiring the ATM operations and assets of ATM Network, Inc. in 2012. Collectively, both acquisitions included thousands of merchant relationships originally established by Access to Money and ATM Network. A significant number of these new merchant locations give Allpoint Network greater ATM location saturation in the Upper Midwest and northern Plains states.
