AMI Advertising Agency Wins Two Gold ADDYs and Best in Show for Digital Advertising

Walla Walla, April 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AMI Advertising Agency ( was presented March 28 with two GOLD ADDY awards and the Best in Show Award from the American Advertising Federation Yakima Chapter for its consumer and business-to-business website designs in the digital advertising category.

The ADDY Awards is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting more than 50,000 entries every year in local competitions, according to the organization's website. A GOLD ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category. The Best in Show Award was given to the best entry of the entire competition.

The winning digital advertising was created by AMI's digital media department for Castillo de Feliciana Vineyard and Winery (, of Milton-Freewater, Ore., and the Dayton Chamber of Commerce (, of Dayton, Wash. The chamber's website also won the Best in Show Award deemed by judges as the winning submission of the entire competition.

The awards were presented to AMI Advertising Agency March 28th in Yakima by the American Advertising Federation (, a chapter of the American Advertising Federation. Both award-winning websites will next be judged at the district level, which will include competition from five states. If AMI wins at districts, the websites will move on to the national competition.

This was the first year AMI Advertising Agency submitted entries in the contest and Katie Oblisk, partner and digital media director of the agency, said she was extremely proud to earn two GOLD ADDYs and the top honor.

"It also means the bar has been raised for us," Oblisk said. "Now we need to strive to win twice as many GOLD ADDYs next year."
