Canton Housing Authority Starts Rehab Project

CANTON, Miss., April 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Please join representatives from BankPlus and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) at a ceremony Thursday, April 11, to announce the start of a project that will rehab 45 homes.

BankPlus and FHLB Dallas awarded the Canton Housing Authority a $495,000 Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant in 2012 to provide repairs to the homes of very low- to low-income residents, many of whom are elderly or disabled.

A short ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. Representatives from BankPlus and FHLB Dallas will be available for photos and interviews, and a number of residents who will benefit from the project, will be in attendance.
