Averail™, a secure mobile content solution provider for the enterprise, and MobileIron, the leader in security and management for mobile apps, documents, and devices, today announced Averail Accessintegration with the MobileIron AppConnect ecosystem. Integrating Averail Access with MobileIron AppConnect ensures that mobile professionals can simply and securely access and collaborate on business content while providing IT with a centralized way to manage mobile application and device policies.
The new Averail for MobileIron application makes it easy for mobile employees to securely browse, manage, share and search for files located in enterprise content repositories behind a firewall or in the cloud. The Averail Access app connects to content repositories, includingMicrosoft SharePoint®, Microsoft® Office 365, SkyDrive Pro and Dropbox. MobileIron integration now gives enterprises the ability to centrally manage Averail Access policies from the MobileIron admin console in order to authorize use as well as set data leakage protection policies. For example, an IT admin can block printing or the ability to cut and paste within documents. When more granular control over content on the mobile device is needed, Averail Access can set policies to manage content down to the document, device or user level.
"MobileIron has a great track record helping large companies securely deploy and manage mobile devices and the applications that run on them," said Marc Olesen, CEO of Averail.
