TULSA, Okla., May 2, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- US Highland (OTC:UHLN) has announced today they have launched a search for partners and/or joint ventures interested in licensing opportunities for select components of their technology in specific market segments. The company has had difficulty raising capital required to finance all aspects of their operations and are seeking opportunities to expand on the existing intellectual property through licensing agreements.
"We are looking for partners interested in licensing components of our technology to bring it to the market sooner than we could by ourselves," stated John R. Fitzpatrick, III, CEO & Director. "This is an important element for launching our 2013 operational plan," Mr. Fitzpatrick continued.
While the company is forging ahead with its efforts to become fully reporting and SEC compliant, the board of directors has determined that it appropriate to entertain alternatives that will enhance shareholder value in both the short and long term.
"I am very optimistic that we will find companies that are interested in partnering with us in this way," said Robert Harris, Chairman of US Highland. Mr. Harris went on to say, "We continue to have very high interest and demand for our products worldwide."
