After nearly two months since her nomination to the cabinet post by President Barack Obama, the United States Senate voted overwhelmingly by a vote of 97-1 to confirm Pritzker.
“Throughout her confirmation process, Ms. Pritzker has articulated her vision for a Commerce Department that will prioritize small business growth and job creation for the remainder of President Obama’s second term,” stated USHCC President & CEO Javier Palomarez. “We congratulate Secretary Pritzker and look forward to working with her and her team in the coming weeks to support America’s Hispanic business community.”
