(NYSE MKT:IFMI) ("IFMI"), a financial services firm specializing in credit-related fixed income investments, today announced that its 2013 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the "Annual Meeting") originally scheduled for Thursday, July 25, 2013, has been postponed until further notice as a result of requiring additional time to revise its proxy materials to respond to comments received from the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") in connection with a routine review of the proxy materials. The Annual Meeting will be rescheduled as soon as reasonably practicable following clearance by the SEC of the revised proxy materials. Stockholders will be notified via press release and electronic or regular mail when a definitive date has been set for the rescheduled Annual Meeting.
As previously disclosed, the Company expects to close its announced transaction with Mead Park Capital Partners LLC and Cohen Bros. Financial, LLC immediately following the Annual Meeting.
