Disney a truly global brand represents a tremendous opportunity for us not only here in the USA but also in Europe, SE Asia and China where there are plans to build up to four Disney Theme Parks. In additon to headboards it is also the company's intent to pursue other opportunities with the Disney LED image license such as "picture frames" and "poster size frames" that depict Disney characters.
After a successful entree with Sam's Clubs it is our goal to sell these character depictions into the mass merchandisers such as Wal Mart, Target as well as the "Big Box" stores like Costco and BJ's.
Lightheaded Beds whom holds the Disney license chose Direct LED as its Joint Venture partner, Inc because of our leading edge technology partership with ITRI in Taiwan http://www.itri.org.tw/ as well as the expertise of our manufacturing partner Phi Hong, Inc http://www.phihongusa.com/ which operates 5 very large manufacturing facilites in both Taiwan and Mainland China and has its R & D Lab here in the US.
Both of these entities are also working very closely with Direct LED, Inc to develop a second and third generation of LED image displays which will feature sound bytes attached to the LED displays and the third generation that could feature sound enabled video.
After a successful roll out of the Disney product will also be looking to license several properties related to sports leagues as well as other opportunities which fit into the "affinity buyer" category. Sports fans are our target initially since this demographic is very loyal and less sensitive to price with a "gotta have" mantality which is not typical with non affinity based products.
When ready we will look to some of our Board members whom have created literally billions of dollars worth of value with their success in the licensing and branding markets.
