HOUSTON, Aug. 15, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Port Commission of the Port of Houston Authority will meet in special session on Friday, August 16, at 1:30 p.m. The meeting will include possible actions regarding a proposed Port of Houston Authority Promotion and Development Fund Policy and Standards document, alternative financing, potential Houston-Galveston Channel improvement projects and upcoming maintenance dredging projects, along with discussion regarding the Fiscal Year 2013 operating budget and capital plan reforecast.
In addition, the Port Commission Audit Committee will meet at 10 a.m. The Port Commission Pension and Benefits Committee will meet at 10:30 a.m. or immediately following the Audit Committee meeting.
The meetings will take place in the fourth floor boardroom of the Port Authority Executive Building, 111 East Loop North (Exit 29 off Loop 610) in Houston.
