The event, which showcased HALDEY's new state-of-the-art facility in the Bronx, demonstrated some of the latest advances in the field of pharmacy compounding.

Doctors, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other medical professionals who couldn't attend the gathering will have another opportunity on Aug. 21, when HALDEY holds its second open-house tour from 5 to 8 p.m., at the company's headquarters, 2510 Westchester Ave., Suite 207. Light refreshments will be served.

During the tour, attendees will journey through the company's newly inaugurated ultra-modern pharmacy with namesake founder Dr. Emil J. Haldey, a doctor of pharmacy and president of the company.

"My staff and I are looking forward to welcoming more doctors to our new home, and providing them with the essential tools needed to incorporate the benefits of pharmaceutical compounding into their treatment options," Dr. Haldey said.

Physicians at the event will have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the cutting-edge enterprise; get a close-up look at the workings of a state-of-the-art compounding pharmacy; meet with HALDEY pharmacists and technicians; become acquainted with some of the latest advances in custom-tailored medications and applications; learn how to decide which patients could best benefit from compounded medications; master the basics of writing prescriptions for compounded drugs, and discover how easy it can be to assimilate customized pharmaceutical compounding into their practices.

"I am happy working with HALDEY Pharmaceutical Compounding," said Dr. Marina Feldman, director of Interventional Pain Management at General 1 Medical, PC., in Manhattan. "Many of my patients continually benefit from the pharmacy's expertise, and are able to enjoy a better, and pain-free, quality of life."

As event space is limited, visitors are encouraged to reserve their place by calling 855-H-COMPOUND (855-426-6768).
