CLEARWATER, Fla., Sept. 3, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tech Data Corporation (Nasdaq:TECD) and MessageOps have entered into a partnership to offer 365 Command, a hosted service enablement tool used for managing Microsoft Office 365 subscription. Offered through the TDCloud business unit in the company's Solution Store, 365 Command provides a faster, more accurate and cost efficient way for solution providers to service clients who operate on Microsoft Office 365.

"As more value-added resellers transition to managed service providers, the 365 Command tool enables resellers to add new service offerings around Office 365," said Bharath Natarajan, director, Product Marketing, TDCloud and Software Services at Tech Data. "Available through Tech Data's award-winning Solutions Store, powered by StreamOne, 365 Command will bring profitable success to solution providers' cloud businesses, creating a continual revenue and profit stream. We would like to thank MessageOps for their partnership to offer our resellers 365 Command."

Powered by MessageOps, 365 Command offers a simple management solution and data-gathering from any device, anywhere. 365 Command replaces the command line interface of Windows® PowerShell with a rich, HTML 5 web interface. The easy-to-use, web-based portal provides resellers with a product offering that enhances administration, reporting, and monitoring tools needed to better manage Office 365.

"MessageOps is pleased to partner with Tech Data to expand our reach within the Microsoft partner community," said Chris Pyle at MessageOps. "With the evolution of cloud computing, we are seeing a large demand from partners who are looking to create a repeatable and profitable service offering around Microsoft Office 365. 365 Command is the enabler."
