A 10-year-old explains how money works

This video really does quite a good job of making the point that we live in a world in which money creation is largely in the hands of private banks, which create money by making loans.

I don't know much about the group, Positive Money, that made it. Their website says that they would like central banks to engage in direct money issuance by spending newly created money into the real economy.
