CHICAGO, Sept. 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AlturaSolutions Communications—a public relations/communications firm serving the professional cleaning, building, health care, and Green-related industries—announces the launch of a new blog to their Web site.
The new blog, called "Words Change Worlds," is designed to help visitors learn more about public relations, communications, the power of content marketing, and how it can be used to promote a company and its products or services.
"We have been thinking about starting this blog for quite some time, and finally decided to make it happen," says Robert Kravitz, President of the 12-year-old company, based in Chicago. "It's a commitment. In order for a blog to have an impact and grow in importance, it should be updated at least once per week, if not more."
The new blog already features several posts offering tips and suggestions for companies and individuals that want to handle their own PR/communications programs.
"Our goal is to help people," Kravitz says. "We want people to understand the power of PR. Knowing how it works and its benefits can make a big difference when it comes to getting a new business off the ground or build an existing business."
Some of the postings include:
- myths and realities about e-mail marketing
- examples of very unusual but very effective PR campaigns, including Coca Cola's "ATM of Happiness" campaign in Spain
- understanding what the word branding means and why it is so important for a company
- how certain colors can trigger different responses from people
- pointers on writing effective press releases
"I believe visitors will be surprised by how generous the blog is in sharing information on effective PR," adds Kravitz. "That's fine. We love PR, think it is valuable and important, and want more people to know more about it."
