WAYNE, Pa., Sept. 11, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AssetWorks, a leading provider of fleet management software, automated fuel management systems, motor pool systems, and operational asset management systems announced today that Scott County, Minnesota has contracted to purchase AssetWorks' flagship fleet management software application FleetFocus.
Scott County is among the fastest growing counties in Minnesota. Powered by the Scott County Association for Leadership and Efficiency (SCALE)―which was formed in the spring of 2003 to encourage greater efficiencies and leadership in public service through enhanced communication, collaboration of services, and sharing of services―Scott County has contracted to purchase FleetFocus to manage its fleet of nearly 400 vehicles.
Scott County selected AssetWorks fleet management software due to its breadth of functionality that could meet their fleet maintenance needs now and as they grow. Additionally, neighboring Carver County will be implementing FleetFocus as part of this project.
