Solera National Bank Expands into the Cherry Creek Neighborhood of Denver

LAKEWOOD, Colo., Sept. 12, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Solera National Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Solera National Bancorp, Inc. (OTCQB: SLRK), today announced that the bank entered into an agreement to lease office space at 101 University Avenue in the Cherry Creek neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The site is expected to be finished and available for staff to occupy in the first quarter of 2014 at which time administrative offices in Lakewood, Colorado will be vacated concurrent with the expiration of the lease.

"The new space will bring much of our commercial and residential mortgage lending activities, bank operations and corporate functions under one roof for greater efficiencies. Importantly, this location will provide a platform for continued growth of our franchise," said Ray Nash, interim President and CEO. "We will also be submitting an application to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency for permission to operate a full-service branch from this location."

Solera National Bank announced on July 22, 2013, that in the fourth quarter of 2013, a full-service branch is targeted to open within the space currently occupied by its residential mortgage division located at 1881 9th Street in Boulder. The Cherry Creek neighborhood was cited as another key expansion area for Solera National Bank, and pending approval, will bring Solera to a total of seven Colorado locations, including three full-service bank branches and four loan production offices, by the end of first quarter, 2014.
